Kitkat Japan is loved by both domestic and international tourists, especially considering the regional-specific flavors. Japanese KitKat is simply world-famous for the sheer number of its flavors.

These sticky, soft treats can be quite addicting to taste. Daifuku is made out of mochi dough, in which mochi is glutinous rice that is sweet and sticky.

Daifuku is the most popular form mochi dough confectionary takes. The most common filling of daifuku is red bean (azuki) made into a paste (anko). Fillings variety range from fruits, coffee, and many more.

A personal favorite of mine is strawberry-filled daifuku; they stuff the whole strawberry inside the confectionary! Yum!

Tokyo Banana

If you like reading or watching anything Japan, you’ve probably heard of this name a lot. Tokyo Banana is not actually a “banana”; it’s a sponge cake with a filling. The classic one would be banana cream filled, as the namesake suggests.

Of course, it comes with a variety of flavors as well aside from banana. It’s a fun treat that can be given as souvenirs for just about anyone.

Because of the popularity, several countries in Asia have adapted this type of cake sold widely in convenience stores

Hammocks Are Actually Have Been Part Of Must Bring Travel Items

There are many travel items and gears that we are usually bring when we are going to spend the holidays in the destinations we are going to. Doesn’t matter what are those, each people have their own must brought stuffs for various purposes. Hammocks are one of them, especially for the past recent years—at least, 5 years back until today is when the hammock is increasingly popular.

I don’t means to generalized everything, but I am pretty sure that the travel hammocks are possible to be as one of the “always remember to bring this stuff” item for many reasons.

Hammocks are vary, but the most popular one that I think many people are having it is the lightweight parachute nylon hammock.

This is truly one of the available travel hammocks that is so much popular for the youngsters up to the older people. The first reason for that is because the weight can only as heavy as 500 g, more or less of it but mostly not up to a kg. That’s why the term of the “lightweight” travel item is always sticking to it. Even, the more lighter hammock can even be less than that and later called as the ultralight hammock.

Travel hammocks are actually the must-bring travel items

Since most of the travel hammocks are so much lighter that even a 5 years old child can bringing it, many people and travellers are purchasing it. As if they are bewitched and appealing the desire to need it.

As the portable bed that can be used both indoor or outdoor, its main function is also the real thing and worth to try. People, travellers and even the scientists are claimed that sleeping in a hammock can even good for our health where it can helps us to feel better, both physically and mentally. But there is one important thing that I think we should really bold-noted, which is the way of hammock that can makes us falling asleep faster.

I don’t know if I am less in reading references or less in knowledge about the health condition, but I have never found an article saying that falling asleep quicker can be an issue for our body. Meaning that it should be as the better health state where most of us are dreaming about. The good news is, if you are falling asleep in no time, then you have also big chance for experiencing the deeper sleep. Deeper sleep will leads us to get better health—you can sleep in comfort and will likely to wake up refreshingly.

I have been mentioned about 2 reasons why many people are using the travel hammocks and why they are can be part of our must-bring travel items, the last reason for that is possibly the price.

The parachute travel hammocks can cost you up to hundreds of dollars, but that you will get not only the hanging bed, but also some of the interesting and important accessories such as the tent to avoid the too shiny day or the rain, the net to preventing you from the small flying animals or insects, and the underquilt to get you warmer.

But if you really need the hammock to be used for travelling in more affordable prices, you can get the hammock with the hook at the first place. And then you can start to save your money then buy one by one of the accessories you are needed. Many of the hammock accessories are being sold separately with the hammock, so you are free to get different configurations and also prices. That’s also why me and many other travellers are in love with it.

Have you been getting your own travel hammocks before? If not, you’d better start thinking about it! They are worth your money and you are deserve to get all the possible benefits.

How to Use Your Pasmo or Suica Card

IC cards are lifesavers that would make your travel in Tokyo so much easier and commute less of a headache. You are able to use your card anywhere in Tokyo. It’s very simple to use, and these handy IC cards can even be used as electronic money to shop at convenience stores as well as at a lot of major stores anywhere in Japan.

Using Pasmo and Suica card in Japan

Craving for an onigiri or sando for snacks? You won’t have to deal with the 30 Yen coin changes that would just make your wallet heavy. Whether it’s PASMO or Suica, how do you use your IC card? These are some of the basics in using your IC card to make your travel in Japan so much easier.

How do you get your cards?

Whether you land at Haneda or Narita airports, you will be able to obtain both PASMO and Suica cards at their designated places. PASMO can be obtained at the Keikyu Railway Station at the Haneda Airport, while Suica can be purchased at the JR Stations.

They have English menu at their ticket machines so you don’t have to worry about figuring out the how-tos during your time purchasing. If you order the Japan Rail Pass, you also ave the option for the IC card to be delivered to your hotel or even to your home before departure.

However, most of the time this would be unnecessary as you will be able to get PASMO or Suica almost virtually anywhere in Tokyo.

Top Up Your Balance

You can easily top up your balance at any of Tokyo stations using the fare adjustment machines available at the stations.

The minimum top of for obtaining the card is 1,000 JPY, in which the 500 Yen would be a deposit for the card, that can be refunded after you ‘re not using your card anymore. The rest would be your cards balance.

After the initial top up, you can add to your balance using coins, the smallest amount is 10 Yen. Too bad 1 Yen coins can’t be used to top up your card. But getting rid of coins of 10 Yen and above would help in making your purse less heavy with coins that are a hassle to use.

Return your card

Once you have reached the end of your stay in Japan, you’re able to return your IC card to get your remaining balance in cash. However, you can only return your card in Tokyo.

Make sure to go to the respective stations, Suica users to JR East Stations, while PASMO to non-JR subway lines. You would be able to return your Pasmo or Suica at any major train stations in Tokyo, for example, Ikebukuro stations, Shinjuku stations, Tokyo stations, etc. However, this won’t be necessary if you only have little to no balance left.

The card is valid for 10 years, and you’ll be able to use your IC card again if you’re coming back to Japan. You can even save the card as a souvenir from your travel, a reminder of your trip in Japan.

A Simple Happiness From a Lightweight Hammock

The lightweight hammock is now even more popular among travellers. It doesn’t matter where you are going to travel to, closer to your neighbourhood or far away at another city, province and even cross-country, if you are going in a trip, you are possible to need a hammock.

Simple happiness from a lightweight hammock

For the travelling where most of your times will be spent at outdoors, buy and bring along your lightweight hammock can give you many advantages. Not only because of its weight that we are going to talk about, but more than that.

People are usually try for finding the different way to experience the trip or adventure they are taking. Some of them are creative and have their own unique ways to enjoy their journey, while the others are the regular people like you and me whom just need a fresh air without doing nothing but couple of selfies for our social media accounts. But, it doesn’t matter what kind of person and traveller you are, bringing the lightweight hammock in a trip can gives us the same beautiful and unique chances to be explored.

Swinging can be the best time for children when playing at the ground. They could “fly” backward and forward for as long as they want. They are laughing which will make most of the parents agree with what they are doing. But now, that childhood story can also be experienced by the young boys and teenagers, the adults, and even the older people. All of us can get our own happiness (for example) while camping with the parachute hammock at the backyard.

You may not smiling as those swinging children, you may not swinging as well as they did, but you will be above the ground for as higher as you need to experience the slowly swinging. Even though you won’t be as cheerful as the children, but you can still feel more happier than before. It is because when you are using the lightweight hammock, you can see things differently. Just 1 meter or more above the ground, the view you are about to see in front of you will also unique.

What if you are giving yourself a moment to enjoy the outdoor camping. Try it once for at least couple of hours with you hammock. You can’t be burdened by it because hundreds of grams of hammock weight shouldn’t tiring your body. Find a near camping spots such as the garden, the park, or beside the river where you can set it up and then, see the magical ways it could treats you.

If you have got your own best position inside a hammock, I am sure that a relaxing moment is about to start. You will also enjoy the nature view around if the site is possible for that, but even if you can only see the skies through the tree leafs, sometimes that will also make your feeling even better.

You don’t have to experience all the happiness in this world. Sometimes, we simply just need one or two simple things that actually worked.

Both are at the different islands either the Labuan Bajo or the Komodo Island. I mean it when I included the Labuan Bajo as one of the place you have to explore. it is because of your travel to Komodo Island mostly will be as a travel package. You can’t really go to Komodo Island by yourself, except you want to use your own boat.

If you are coming to visit the Komodo Island, Labuan Bajo will be your last flight stop. There’s nothing you can do to continue your journey to Komodo Island but by boat. The hotel or an accommodation you will be reserved for your stay is also possible at Labuan Bajo, except you are reserving the Komodo Island Liveaboard package where you can enjoy the leisure travel on board.

While you are in Labuan Bajo before travel to Komodo Island, If you’ve got some times, you’d better start exploring the city and its surround. But worry not since I’ll tell you what you can do at there right after your flight landed and found an accommodation.

Labuan Bajo is the heaven for the seafood lovers, even there is the fish market for that called as Pasar Baru. All the fishes mostly are the fresh ones, so you should be enjoy the fresh food as well. Think that both of above itineraries are too usual and need to find the special adventure at Labuan Bajo? Find the Rangko Cave to swim inside the cave, Cunca Wulang Canyon & Waterfalls to enjoy the watery pleasures. Hiking, canyoning, swimming, and more, you can even spend half of the day there.

2. Hiking and taking great pictures on the hill of Padar Island

Among many of the wild islands around Komodo Island, Padar Island is also a must visited one. The view of the island from the top looks unique and you may will be amazed by it. Hiking to the peak of the hill can only takes you from 20 minutes to around 1 hour, this is not as serious as hiking the mountain.

Diving can’t be for everyone, but if you are planning for it, make sure that the travel agent you have reserved to accompany your travel around Komodo Island is also included with the dive session at Manta Point.

Manta Point is located at very small island called as Pulau Makassar. The beach over there is also the pink beach as at the Komodo Island. Most of the travelers are coming here just to enjoy the beauty of diving while seeing the magnificent of Manta rays. I think that there’s not many of the dive sites in Indonesia like this where there will be one spot to just see one sea animal. Surely that you will also see the other fishes and species, but it has been so popular for its Manta rays.

“The island close to the land.” That’s the translation for this island name. The island scenery from the summit of the hill is also the best one. Many have came here to just taking for their pre-wedding photographs.

Simple, Unremarkable Ways to Stay Healthy During Travel

If you’re worrying on how to stay healthy during your upcoming trip, then you’re probably already on the right track. The main points shared here may sound boring and nothing out of the ordinary—but keeping your health shouldn’t be something extraordinary. To be at the top of your health, whether its for travel or for everyday life, does not have to be a chore.

You’ve also probably heard of some of the things here being preached by your friends, or by the internet. However this simple, unremarkable, boring points are the basics; fundamentals that keep the human body alive and able to function. y upholding these fundamentals during your travel as best as you can, you’d stay healthy. And as a result, you’ll be able to enjoy the entirety of your trip to its fullest.

Sleep and don’t skip breakfast

Just don’t. How are you going to be able to function well without a sufficient supply of nutrients as a fuel for your body to do its activities. And sleep has been something that is described to be more important than food (but of course you’d need both of them so don’t skip out on any). Amnesty International organization even lists sleep deprivation as one form of torture. Therefore, make sure to get your long overnight sleep. You need it especially on travels!

Stock some fruits—get them from the local convenience stores in your destination or supermarket, or ask your hotel if you stay in one—they’re not just delicious. A lot of fruits are often refreshingly sweet and chock-full of nutritions necessary to sustain your body. Having breakfast keeps the fatigue away and sate the hunger caused by long hours of sleep. It would make you feel energized and ready to tackle the day. And during travels, having enough energy is something that is extremely essential in order for you to enjoy yourself.

Exercise everyday and hydrate

Stay healthy during travel by exercising

Exercise has been known to boost endorphin levels, the feel-good hormones produced by your body that your mind needs in order to feel good, and even calm. And you need to be in a good condition to be able to exercise well, and one of the ways to keep your body in a good condition is by hydrating. Drink lots of water—your body gets rid of toxins and waste through urination and perspiration. It also helps regulate your temperature, so make sure to drink!

Those who already have exercise habit or routine in place most likely have known the difference exercise can cause. Worry about the disruption in your daily exercise routine is okay. Even if you cannot go to full lengths of your exercise, simply a 5 to 15 minutes session is enough. Chances are, you’re going to be moving your body the whole day, and it’s also a form of a good exercise, and you’re not going to “lack” them.

Exercise is extremely important to let your blood flowing and pumping, which is an extremely important process in distributing oxygen throughout your body. Feeling fatigue and sleepy during a flight, for example, is commonly caused by lack of body movements. This is also true if you’re traveling on the road, as sitting for too long would only promote fatigue. Exercising would make you feel more energized, and it’s easier if you start that at home and make it a habit.

Eat bits by bits instead of a big meal all at once

Eating small amounts of food throughout the day is way easier on your digestive system. Don’t skip a meal only to eat a ton on the next meal time. It would simply cause a disturbance in your digestive system and cause a lot of discomfort for you. This sort of practice would only disturb your travel. Eating bits by bits would allow your body to process the nutrients better than dumping big amount at once and overworking it.

Can Bamboo Be The Best Material For Your Bedding Set?

Bamboo is becoming more popular today as one of the main raw material for bedding set. It can also be a trend too since it has been started for the last recent years. When we imagine about it, it is quite hard to think that it will be “soft” so later can be used in your bedroom where you can lay down or hugs it.

Many of us have realized that bamboo itself is supple and flexible. When it has reached the certain height, it is possible for us to bend it over even though it is also has the dense texture. There are many items and products can be made of it, but come on, how come the best bedding sets made of it? Knowing that, sometimes I feel like I am dreaming.

At first, it is hardly for me to accept that the best bamboo bedding set can be the choice for all of us. It is because of utilizing the natural wealth and potential has always been a human weakness, especially for the involved industries or the enterprises.

Could they use bamboo as the best bedding material without harming the environment in its process? That’s what I keep on thinking. How can we sleep when our bed cover or the pillows cases are contributing in deforestation even just a little bit?

Do the best bamboo bedding set is possible for us?

The best bamboo bedding sets are available now

Most of our bedding sets may have been made of cotton. The contents of your pillow along with its case, your bed sheets, blanket or the duvet cover, the bolsters, and even the bed itself that you have been using for years.

Many of the human in this world may have bought their bedding sets that made of the cotton, and I think that it will be hard to be debated or denied. Sadly, cotton is not quite friendly for our nature. It needs more of the pesticides to grow, not to mention about the fertilizers or maybe the other chemical powders and liquids. I know that there is also the organic cotton, still, it may hard for the industries to develop it.

The important things are; cotton is the less environmental friendly plant and may cause the companies to spend more of their budgets. Those why there should be an alternative that can be changed as the main raw material. For that case, bamboo is in the list.

Bamboo bedding set is essentially made out of the bamboo fibers, literally. The plant is also eco-friendly than the cotton. The industry won’t even need the fertilizers, simply just the good seeds to be planted. No more pesticides, too! It is friendly for the environment and for us as well.

Growing the bamboo and makes it as the material is also quite fast. Rather than wait for years, it will only takes for some months and we are ready to cut the bamboos down to make the best bamboo bedding sets ever made. Now, your bedding sets are amongst the most important thing to consider related to furnishing your bed for more better rest or a good night sleep.

If you want to make the comparison between bamboo and the cotton for the best bedding sets in your house, one of the important thing to think about is the thread count. The more of the thread count, the better. I know you can’t count on your bare eyes for that, but i think that the factory or manufacturer should transparent about it. Informing the thread count on the product description or in the official site will be the great move and benefit the customers to know more about what they are about to buy.

The bamboo fibers are usually considered as the softer than the cotton. Although, there is also the high quality cotton with the high thread count and softer, too. Nevertheless, the wide majority of the best bamboo bedding sets will be far softer compared to regular cotton.

Japanese convenience stores are simply amazing—if simply for the variety and quality of goods they serve in their mini establishments. Japanese conbini food are not hot dogs. This triangle-shaped delicacy wrapped in crunchy seaweed is both delicious and rich with fibers. Onigiri is the name for riceballs stuffed with various fillings, wrapped in seaweed. Yum!

Seafood Futomakizushi

Futomakizushi literally means “fat rolled sushi”. These sushi rolls are slightly larger compared to the regular makizushi. They’re very filling and simply delicious. The seafood futomakizushi often has a large variety of fillings such as salmon trout, cucumber, crabs, and other fillings. These are beautiful, colorful sushi rolls great for both a big meal or a snack.

All the makizushis you can find

Not just futomakizushi—any makizushi you can find is something worth digging into. Makizushi is “sushi roll”, which are popular finger food in East Asia. They are plentiful in the convenience stores. FamilyMart and Lawson sell a good variety of these makizushi bento. There are kappa-maki, which is sushi made out of cucumber, shibazuke-maki, which is sushi roll with pickled eggplant, and many other mouthwatering varieties.

Dorayaki

Dorayaki is a Japanese confection that resembles pancake, with red bean paste called “azuki” as its filling. The store 7-Eleven once sold a modified take on dorayaki, attractively shaped like a crepe, a bit smaller than the regular dorayaki, served with maple syrup. Dorayaki price generally ranges from 100 JPY to 300 JPY. They’re a very addictive type of sweet snack that gives you much lighter taste compared to sweets made out of chocolate and cheese, for example, thanks to the taste of red bean paste.
